David Austin® Mme. Alfred Carriere Climbing Rose

00023600
It bears large, cupped, rather informal, creamy white blooms tinged with pink, which have a strong, sweet fruity fragrance. First flowering in June/July, it repeats until late in the season. The growth is strong, bushy and upright with plentiful foliage. Although rather stiff, training the stems will create a graceful effect. Schwartz, 1879.

Details
  • This Climbing Rose Shrub is once flowering in a creamy white colour. It has a light-medium fragrance and will grow up to 20ft high.
  • Ideal for large trees, large structures and has very few thorns.
  • Growing conditions: full - partial light, North, East, South and West facing gardens, and all soil types.
  • Climbing roses have large flowers, held singly or in small groups. They are a wonderful way of creating height in the garden and, as most varieties are repeat-flowering, they are ideal for clothing structures with abundant blooms throughout the summer months. Perhaps one of the best uses for a climbing rose is to lift the front of a house by either hiding an ugly faade or simply making a beautiful house more beautiful.
