NERINE BOWDENII
Nerine Bowdenii has strap-shaped leaves rising to a wondrous display of funnel-shaped lily-like pink flowers.
These tall, long lasting blooms make ideal cut flowers and are a sound choice if you are seeking a plant for good ground cover.
From March onwards, plant so that the neck of the bulb is just protruding, placing bulbs 10cm/4ins apart.
Found in many South African countries, it is no surprise that Nerines like full sun and a well-drained soil containing plenty of organic material.
